PROGRADE Rotation means rotating in the “right” or “correct” direction (ie:- in the same direction as Earth). RETROGRADE Rotation means rotating in the “wrong” direction. Three planets have RETROGRADE Rotation, ie:- Venus, Uranus, and Pluto. You can check this by clicking on the following link and looking at the Rotation Period column entitled (P Rotation (days)). If you see the letter R directly preceding the planet’s rotation period, then the letter R stands for RETROGRADE.
